Dr Hoa Nguyen is a Research Scientist in the Quantum Systems Team at CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency. His expertise lies at the intersection of quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing (QuantumAI.Cloud), with research interests in quantum software engineering, quantum machine learning applications, and AI-driven optimisation for resource orchestration in distributed quantum computing systems. Hoa is developing quantum software systems for the National Quantum Computing Testbed (NQCT) in collaboration with the University of Queensland and quantum industry partners. He completed his PhD at the qCLOUDS Lab, University of Melbourne, focusing on serverless and reinforcement learning-based resource management for quantum cloud computing, and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Information Technology, Vietnam National University (UIT-HCM). He has over eight years of teaching experience in Vietnam and Australia, and he works with national and international partners to advance scalable quantum computing architectures and software systems that support Australia’s growing quantum ecosystem.
